Description

A leading factor in crop-yield reduction is soil compaction, but most points do little to alleviate it. Case IH Tiger Points are different, with flexible alloy-steel construction that can handle even the toughest residue. Its all about the lift, twist and roll:
  • LIFT: The tip starts the fracturing by lifting the compacted soil
  • TWIST: The front area of the wing starts the twisting action, which relocates soil layers and prevents immediate recompaction
  • ROLL: The back of the wings and the shank finish the job by rolling the soil to incorporate fertilizer and residue
  • Fracture 25 to 50 percent
  • Remaining residue 70 to 95 percent
  • 0-inch to 2-inch (0 millimeters to 51 millimeters) ridges erating depth: 8 inches to 16 inches (203 millimeters to 406 millimeters)
  • Mounts on no-till shank only
